A nourishing twist

With this warm & sunshiney filled spring we’ve been having, our family has been craving vanilla bean ice cream. (Cooper’s favorite)

I’ve been thinking about making it with the raw milk we get from our farmer friend, Justin and our friend, Alexa, scored me a Cuisinart ice cream maker at the goodwill for $8 and I haven’t taken ‘er for a spin yet.

The last time I made homemade ice cream was several years ago. Probably over a decade now (woah… that makes me feel old) as a kid on summer break, over at my dad’s house.

… the only thing I changed was instead of vanilla extract, I used vanilla bean paste. Delish.
